Opp #500 - CLOUD Platform Analyst
Level 3: 10+ Years’ Experience
The resource(s) must have significant and relevant experience working with Cloud Service Providers (CSP’s) Microsoft Azure (Primary) and/or Amazon AWS (Secondary) to provide design, implementation, administration, maintenance and support services for DFO’s cloud based applications, workloads and services.
This includes cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, cloud management, cloud operation and monitoring.
The candidate(s) will assist DFO with their cloud adoption and computing strategy to deliver DFO’s future state cloud environment(s)
Replace existing legacy infrastructure
Workload migration of legacy applications and services
New cloud based applications, services and workloads
Use of Containers for workloads
Data storage and archive/backup services
High performance computing (HPC) services
Identity management and role-based access control (RBAC)
Network zoning and connectivity to CSP’s (on premise/public/private)
Audit and monitoring processes and procedures
Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS) and Departmental Security controls and standards
Operational Maintenance (patching, upgrades, etc.)
Automation of cloud resource deployments and maintenance tasks
Disaster recovery strategies
High availability strategies (elasticity, load balancing and traffic management)
DevOps - configure and provision application releases and automate deployments.
MUST Provide a Copy of one of the Following Certifications:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional Or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional Or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Or Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert Or Professional Cloud Solution Architect (PCSA)
